LH: Transition ideas

As it shows above there are some very effective transitions that would work well with our editing process. It gives a VHS transition style which can be done on Da Vinci Resolve, we were recommended to do all of the co lour grading and transition effects once all of the shots are on the timeline, meaning we cannot quite get underway with this process. This will work well in the main sequence of the video as it gives the effect of it being an old school style conforming to the genre of the song therefore creating a sense of synergy between the track and the visuals. The inspiration for this transition effect came from the 'Rejjie Snow - Black Pancakes' video as shown above in the photo (analysed shot-by-shot). It works well in this video although being revolved completely around performance, I believe we would recreate this effect strongly and that it would suit our style of video, seeing as this song and Loyle Carner's sit in the same rough genre.
